Soap out of the Garden provides a natural alternative to soaps from the high-street. We use skin loving oils and shea butter with ingredients such as exfoliating botanicals, detoxifying clays and therapeautic essential oils in our soaps. We use a gentle 'baby foam' cleanser derived from coconuts in our shampoos.
All our products are hand-made in small batches, based in York, UK. We also have Keepsake Gift Boxes made of wood and hand painted for any occasion.

Our soaps are made with shea butter and a blend of up to five oils and essential oils. They contain botanicals and all natural colourings.
Mini soap bars are ideal for travelling and for B&B owners to provide a hand made, lovely plastic-free soap option for their guests. They also make perfect party favours, corporate gifts or stocking fillers.
Some of our ingredients may sound strange, so here’s a bit about them:-
SCI in our shampoo (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) is a surfactant made from sustainable, natural, renewable coconut and creates a lovely rich lather with superior softness. SCI is very mild and one of the gentlest surfactants available.
BTMS in our conditioner (Behentrimonium Methosulfate) is a plant-based emulsifying wax that is naturally derived from Colza or Rapeseed oil which acts as a wonderful emulsifier when mixing several different ingredients. In addition to its emulsifying capabilities, it’s also a great detangling agent and absorbs well into skin and hair strands. Behentrimonium Methosulfate has a positive charge which makes it super conditioning leaving your hair silky and moisurised.

100 percent Rhassoul Clay face mask for normal, oily blemished and mature skin. Contains silica, potassium, magnesium and calcium.
Avoiding metal materials, mix around 2 teaspoons clay with water to make a paste and apply to face. Leave for approximately 15 minutes, then wash off. Use once a week or for oily skin up to 3 times a week. Do not use on inflamed red broken skin or eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse well. This is in a tub and is £5 for 100g.
